World Class Fishing
According to “The Outdoor Trip,” Idaho is rated #4 for trout fishing. A prime location is Henry’s Lake located in Island Park, Idaho. Anglers visiting Henrys Lake can fish for cutthroat trout, brook trout and rainbow-cutthroat trout. Henrys Lake contains some of the largest brook trout in the United States and holds the Idaho state record brook trout at 7.2 pounds.
History of Innovation
Idaho has a long history of innovation. Philo Farnsworth of Rigby, Idaho is credited with the creation of the first electronic television set, and J.R. Simplot is the man behind frozen french fries. Idaho’s inventors harness brilliant ideas that change the world, and that still holds true today.
Yellowstone National Park
Just 100 miles from Idaho Falls, Yellowstone National Park is a nearly 3,500-sq.-mile wilderness recreation area atop a volcanic hot spot. Mostly in Wyoming, the park spreads into parts of Montana and Idaho too. Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful. It's also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope.

At around 7,900 feet, Idaho’s Hell’s Canyon is the deepest gorge in the United States, even deeper than the Grand Canyon.

Idaho Falls is a great place! We have two boys, 15 and 17 years old and they love to play outside, ride bikes, fish, camp and ski. Idaho Falls, has a ski resort 20-30 minutes from town, Jackson Hole is about an hour away and Yellowstone National Park is about an hour and half away. Family oriented community with tons of fun stuff to do!
